I have stuck \"archstyl.shx\" in everyplace I can think of so Autocad for the Mac can find and use it. It don't. It sees other shx fonts (and of course the TT fonts) in the same places. archstyl.shx is critical to interface with Windows ACAD based clients. Anybody got a clue
Thanks for sending those along. Thinking that I might have a corrupt original I stuck yours in all the Font and Support folders, but ACAD 4 MAC is still not seeing them. It sees other \"shx\" fonts that apparently came with the app, but not these. Need more help . . .
I have another font question - this time related to ttf fonts. For some reason AutoCAD for Mac doesn't display our company ttf font when a drawing first loads. If I go to 'text style' and check the font associated with our style it says it is the correct font. I've found a work-around by changing the font for the style, clicking apply and ok, and then repeating the steps to select the correct font. This works ok but I have to do it to each and every file and some of our projects have dozens... Do you have any idea why the font doesn't display correctly and do you know of a proper fix
Additionally, the File Manager also now includes a link to the Support Files Manager, where you can upload and manage drawing templates, fonts, hatch patterns, plot styles, and LISP routines. To access Support Files, click Manage Support Files... on the left side bar of the File Manager / Homepage.
This release also marks the end of the Web App Program, which granted free access to drafting and editing commands in the browser. For more information about the end of the Web App Program, click here.
I make my living as a freelancing programmer selling my time and also licenses for libraries and source code toother companies. The idea behind the viewer you can download here for free is that it is a good tool toshow what I can provide.
The viewer is not Open Source, but the usage of the viewer is free of any charge. You may download it and use it at your own risk. Although doing my best to make ita useful tool there is no guarantee for this.
For AutoCAD Users: These details are compatible with AutoCAD R14 and newer. They were created at a 1:1 scale and use colors 30 and 134. For best output results, please use the following settings and fonts:
Please note! I do not recommend this method any more. Before attempting this hack, instead try using Inkscape ! Full step by step guide here: -to-dwg-using-free-open-source-inkscape/ 1e1e36bf2d
