The important part of the game is when you destroy a chicken invader. The pig invaders will start to back up and the chicken attackers will surround you. At this point, you can shoot the chickens to take them out. You can also jump to avoid the attack from one of the chickens. After the wave is over, you can run again if you wish, as long as you have the remaining power.
While there's no AI to speak of (the chicken invaders don't even go on their own), the level of difficulty seems pretty good. Level one of the first wave of chickens always took me around thirty seconds to destroy the enemies. More than a few times, I would fail the level because I had no health. Levels 2-4 were times when I died, while 5-8 were pretty much like level one.
You can use your weapons for some different purposes. You can shoot chickens, which will cause them to fly in the air and fall down on their own. The sound and feedback on the shots is very satisfying and sounds like the chicken projectiles are real. You can also shoot at the background to cause a wave of more enemy chickens to appear. If you manage to hit the background, the waves increase in intensity and sound a bit more like its associated weapon. Shoots at the background aren't as satisfying as the chicken projectiles, and isn't as important of a strategy, but I did enjoy having it as an option.
The enemies and asteroids will start to pick up speed, which causes them to appear in a line. They start moving rapidly, and there's a chance of a space rock flying in and exploding in a deadly pattern. You need to be quick when shooting at the enemy chickens, or else the next wave will come a bit sooner than you want.
Episode 3's boss wave has a similar formula to that of Episode 2's boss wave, where the first part of the wave is a more traditional chicken invaders wave, while the second part is a more in-depth boss encounter. The first wave of Episode 3 features a basic sky ship, which the player must destroy to progress further. The second half of Episode 3 has the player dodging a wave of three enemies, one of which is a special boss enemy that is similar to a chicken invaders boss. The third wave of Episode 3 is a more traditional boss wave, where the player is faced with a small number of enemies and a boss tank.
The boss encounters are the highlight of the game, with the bosses being very different from one another in form and design, as well as level of difficulty. The standard chicken invaders waves are easy enough for veterans of the series, but the boss waves are where Chicken Invaders 2 really shines. There are two boss waves in the game, one in Episode 2 and one in Episode 3, with the gameplay and presentation of the final boss being the most different of any in the game.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead. 827ec27edc
