Lin was born in Shanghai, China in April 1927, and he graduated from Shanghai Aviation College in 1948. He was part of a group of engineers that built the first prototype of a lunar orbiting station in 1965. Lin worked with Tsing Hua University in Beijing. He was a pioneering member of the Chinese Society of Laser Physics in 1978, and he was a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Lin's work led to the development of the excimer laser, which is a light source with ultra-short pulses that permit new applications in materials processing. Lin is also known for developing the gas dynamic theory that explains the re-entry process of spacecraft.
Lin was an internationally renowned aeronautical engineer who pioneered excimer lasers, and specialized in gas dynamics, with applications in many areas including the re-entry of spacecraft into earth's atmosphere after space travel. He died in October 2020 at the age of 95.
Lin moved to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 1957. At LLNL, he pioneered the use of gas lasers in missile defense, studies of the physics of atmospheric reentry, and infrared detection of meteorites and comets.
In 1977, Lin received the AIAA George F. Raub Medal for his pioneering work in aerospace lasers. He went on to receive the National Medal of Science in 1982 and the Aeronautics Medal in 1991, from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Lin was elected to the U.S. National Academy of Engineering in 1983 and IEEE in 1988. He held several U.S. patents.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
